“Your words are so genuine, and the flow so pure, it’s like singing an anthem to me as the reader. Great Stuff!”-Magan Thomas

In a situation where forgiveness seems unattainable, I give you a formula that works. I grew up in an environment that was built on secrets that created a destructive family legacy. But as an adult, as I searched for answers, what I found was a web of deception and sexual abuse that was many generations deep.

My desire to change this corrosive legacy that was created in my family grew stronger after learning that the sexual abuse and deception was more than I could have ever imagined. My charge is to help others with awareness on a difficult topic that is more prevalent than we would like it to be. Learn how to seek and speak your truth in order to stop surviving and start LIVING.

Come on my healing journey where you will gain knowledge on how to LIVE despite a harrowing past.

I know it will help parents to have faith in their children and let them know they have a voice and will be protected.”][tt_am_testimonials_item_shortcode stars=”s_5″ name=”Magan Thomas” position=”Middle School Teacher” text=”I have never seen what happens with sexual abuse victims beyond the reporting. But this uplifting book illuminates the heroics and the faces of the abused themselves. The narratives told here moved me through panic and nausea to forgiveness and reconciliation. Carr’s call is for others abused to step forward into the life-giving light that telling their stories brings, and you feel her cry resonate, even if you have never been affected personally. This book is a key to opening doors too long closed, and Carr’s light penetrating that darkness causes blossoms to unfurl.”][tt_am_testimonials_item_shortcode stars=”s_5″ name=”HRGable” position=”Amazon Reviewer” text=”Stacey puts into words not only the heartbreak and consequences of sexual abuse; she, more importantly, guides the reader to methods of coping and ultimately healing.
I completed the book in one day & it taught me so much about her and others who grew up with the stigma of being abused.
She is my hero & she is a survivor! I love you, my friend!”][tt_am_testimonials_item_shortcode stars=”s_5″ name=”Amazon Customer” position=”Amazon Reviewer” text=”I love this book and how it empowers other to speak up. Stacey is being very vulnerable with the readers. This is a must read because we all know someone who has been in one of these scenarios. You will not be disappointed. It is a pager turner.”][/tt_am_testimonials_shortcode]
